![]() ![]() There doesn't seem to be a multiplayer element in the game so I suppose they don't need to retain people to keep the game population up. No wonder my kids don't seem interested in it as they only get about an hour of play on their phones a day. I managed to finish the task to be rewarded with a +1 to the energy bar and a new task that I can't start for an hour unless I spend crystals. ![]() This seems purposefully shitty even in F2P standards. I understand that F2P games are designed to be played in short bursts but this task has a time limit of 3 hours to complete or you have to start over. At this point I have about 5 energy left and as it cost me 20 to fill the overall task bar to one star means I'm going to have to stop playing. Then the class changes to trying to get your broom to go from the floor to your hand. So I tap again on her character and I get 'Ignore 0/2', great make me feel bad for just doing the class and even if I choose ignore the game still makes you do several more of these things until you hit the first star in the overall progress bar. So if a character is highlighted in blue you can click them and various things appear like 'Overhear 0/2', 'Smile 0/1' or 'Talk to friend 0/3' using your energy fills these bars and helps fill the overall task bar but what if I just want to do the class. So I tap on her character and it says something like 'Trim bristles 0/2' so I tap it twice and a get a little bit of the bar at the top of the screen filled. ![]() This seems typical for this type of game so far. To fill the bar up I have to spend energy. There's a bar at the top of the screen showing how far I am from getting two stars. The lesson begins and it seems that I must achieve 2 stars to pass the class. Her character appears to be about to start a lesson to learn to fly a broom. So after it loads I see the usual F2P trappings, energy, money and crystals. So today I had one of their phones and decided to take a look at the game. So about a week has passed since release and they have barely mentioned it to me and that's somewhat of a surprise. ![]() We're up to Goblet of Fire in the book series for bedtime story so the idea of playing in that universe really appealed to them. So two of my daughters were excited to play the Harry Potter mobile game. ![]()
